The Impulse PS460 Commercial Self-Generating Magnetic Spin Bike is built for gyms, studios and high-traffic training floors where equipment has to run all day, every day. It generates its own power as the rider pedals — no cord, no power point, no restriction on where it sits on your floor. Magnetic resistance and a maintenance-free belt drive keep every ride quiet, smooth and consistent.
Self-generating power — no power outlet required
The console is powered entirely by the rider. Pedal, and the onboard generator runs the 4.3” LCD display and its Bluetooth connectivity. That strips cabling costs out of your fitout, frees up your floor layout, and means the bike costs nothing to run.
400W magnetic brake, 28 resistance levels
The contactless magnetic brake system delivers resistance without friction pads to wear down or replace. 28 levels give riders fine control from recovery spins through to heavy sprint intervals, and because nothing physically touches the flywheel, resistance stays true across years of commercial use.
Bluetooth console and app-based training
The console pairs over Bluetooth with the majority of third-party training apps on the market, including Kinomap. Riders follow guided routes, join virtual rides and track their own sessions on their own device — a genuine retention tool for studios and 24/7 clubs. Onboard readouts cover resistance level, time, speed (avg/max), distance, watts (avg/max), RPM (avg/max), heart rate (avg/max) and calories.
Built for commercial punishment
An oversized steel main frame with an enlarged axle and pedal shaft handles sustained group-training loads. The 3.5kg rear-mounted aluminium flywheel is fully waterproof, with a moulded edge shroud that protects both the drivetrain from sweat and the rider from the wheel. Aluminium pulley, 1:10 belt drivetrain ratio and a 25mm shaft round out a build rated to 150kg / 330lb user weight.
Rider fit and comfort
The V-frame geometry and 164mm Q-Factor put riders in a natural, road-accurate position. Multi-position handlebars with soft PVC grip adjust vertically and horizontally, as does the ultra-padded sport saddle — both on aluminium posts with redesigned quick-adjust knobs. Dual-sided VP pedals take cleats or standard trainers, so riders aren’t locked into cycling shoes. Twin bottle holders keep hydration in reach through intense sessions, and a push-down emergency stop brings the flywheel to an immediate halt.
Stretch station built in
An integrated tension unit at the rear of the frame lets riders stretch before and after a session without leaving the bike.
